São Paulo – Qatar Airways, the official airline of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, launched on Wednesday (11) a campaign ahead of the tournament. Qatar, the airline’s home country, hosted the last World Cup in 2022. Next year’s competition will take place in Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
Offering tickets and packages to transport teams and tourists to World Cup matches, Qatar Airways features two football icons in its campaign: Italy’s Roberto Baggio and Brazil’s Romário, carrying the FIFA World Cup trophies from Qatar to the U.S.
In the released material, Qatar Airways Group CEO Badr Mohammed Al-Meer said this World Cup promises to be spectacular. “From delivering all-inclusive travel packages, to curated fan experiences, we are on a mission to make dreams come true—utilizing our global network to fly fans, officials and teams to this historical event,” said the CEO.
The company says that Qatar Airways Holidays, its travel operator, is ready to launch unparalleled travel packages for the FIFA World Cup 2026 in Canada, Mexico, and the U.S., noting that 48 teams will compete, with more than 104 matches planned and 16 host cities.
The travel packages offered include international and domestic flights, transfers between cities, accommodation in four- and five-star hotels, transfers to airports and stadiums, as well as tickets to the matches. More information is available on the company’s website.
